Design Engineer’s main responsibilities are to :
To define products, edit BoM and prepare assembly drawings and instructions for land and submarine accessories.
To identify technical solutions to either a given problem or a market opportunity.
To conduct engineering projects on new design such as components, equipment and systems.
To edit technical documents and provide technical support to internal and external customers.
To support the installation of accessories with technical documents.
To assess and improve the variable cost of products.
To support Quality Dept. in identifying technical solutions to given issues and corrective actions.
To adapt and restructure technical documents to other IT systems.
Coordinating with Operations, R&D and other organizations for the execution of projects and activities.
Technical risk assessment of design change management.
To coordinate and manage suppliers with Procurement Organization.
Skills and Experience/Competences
Technology (Product, machinery and manufacturing process).
Engineering and innovation.

Analytical and problem-solving ability.

Persistence and ability to influence others.
Positive attitude to lead and motivate the team.
Strategic approach to work.
IT Systems
Good knowledge of 3D software drawing (SolidWorks).
Languages
Good knowledge of English.
Education and experience
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience in the cable/accessories industry or in an Engineering organization would be appreciated (at least 3 years).
