Job Description:
As an HSE Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing our Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that our workplace adheres to legal requirements, meets customer standards, and aligns with our internal environmental and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Policy Development: Draft, implement, and manage HSE policies and procedures to create a safe and compliant working environment.
Audits and Assessments: Plan, execute, supervise, and coordinate internal audits and Risk Assessments (RI&Es) to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
Risk Analysis: Conduct risk analyses, analyze trends, and provide recommendations to eliminate or mitigate risky aspects in the workplace.
Support and Advice: Offer support and advice to management regarding HSE matters, contributing to a culture of safety and compliance.
Incident Coordination: Supervise and coordinate accident and incident investigations, ensuring thorough analysis and appropriate corrective actions.
Ideal Profile Qualifications and Skills:
Completed HBO education in higher safety science or intermediate safety science with 1+ years of relevant work experience. Proficient in English, with oral and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in monitoring deadlines. Effective prioritization and organizational skills. Affinity with drafting policies and translating complex policy and legal texts for both management and employees.
