Royal IHC designs and delivers integrated hopper dredging solutions for vessels that are new built or upgraded. The dredging system involves the integration of a draghead, suction tube, pump, and other relevant components for slurification and transport of slurry.
Background:
Some IHC clients are interested in upgrading an existing vessel/barge to a hopper dredger. This specifically concerns clients with a smaller budget or requirement level. The entry-level solution for a hopper dredge installation of IHC is currently quite high and advanced. However, IHC wants to extend its portfolio to serve the specific mentioned group of clients as well, by providing a cheaper, easier, more plug & play solution.
Requirement:
This assignment concerns a general concept study and is especially relevant for the expertise of “sales/concept engineering”.
The following tasks/questions are foreseen:
