Logoplaste is looking for a Production Manager to join our Management Team in Elst. In this position you are reporting directly to the Plant Manager. You will be engaged in continuous improvement across various processes, striving for the highest standards of quality and business excellence. The role will require excellent management and communication skills.
Tasks / Responsibilities
Provide hands-on troubleshooting support to the team, foster excellent inter-departmental relations, and oversee personnel for key programs and projects.
Establish and oversee procedure, production, and quality standards in the assigned area, setting clear performance evaluation goals.
Enhance workforce capabilities through effective supervision, coaching, and training, focusing on leadership, team development, and conflict resolution.
Coordinate labor and materials in line with the production schedule, ensuring clear communication of plans and strategies within the department.
Daily monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), making recommendations to address quality, safety, and production issues.
Analyze and report on budget versus forecast, developing continuous improvement strategies.
Handle departmental scheduling, relationship management with stakeholders
Participate in hiring processes, maintain facility equipment standards, and contribute to sustainability and corporate social responsibility efforts.
Managing preventive maintenance performance and repair of production equipment.
Ensure strict compliance with health and safety guidelines
Ensure continuity of food safety requirements according FSSC 22000
Management of master recipes
Coordinate refurbishment plan for production equipment
Manage and control key production suppliers to ensure continuity of the production process.
Coordinate and manage energy management goals for production
Who we are looking for…
Profile
Minimum HBO which is relevant to this work
At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
Proven Leadership skills
Hands-on mentality is essential for this role
Decisive and closely involved with the shop floor
Technical skills
Fluent Dutch and English is essential both spoken and written
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SAP.
