The job

We are therefore looking for a professional who can make sustainability measurable by carrying out Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), in which making greenhouse gas emissions measurable is an important element, along with related issues such as biodiversity, water and various social aspects. However, the role is not limited to these services. You will also be involved in other sustainability projects that match your ambitions and skills.

That is why we are looking for an ambitious, enterprising and energetic Sustainability Consultant!

Your responsibilities are:

Planning and executing sustainability projects where independent and complete execution of Life Cycle Assessments (up to external verification of results) is an essential part of your work.

Define specific project scopes, objectives and deliverables.

Build and manage project teams, resources and budgets.

Monitoring progress and making adjustments where necessary, ensuring quality and reporting effectively to stakeholders.

Evaluate project deliverables and processes, and propose and implement necessary changes.

Willingness to dive into the needs of our various internal and external clients and provide ad hoc advice, proactively where necessary.

Who are you

Most important is that you can be critical and precise, but also pragmatic when needed. To be successful within Cefetra, it is important to have a ‘self-starter’ mentality, be open minded and curious. In addition, you can identify with the following requirements:

You have relevant experience in LCA and you have the ability to manage projects independent.

You have affinity for sustainability and its application in the agricultural and logistics related sectors, with an interest in corporate carbon accounting, carbon reduction plans and the development of ad hoc solutions for more sustainable practices.

You are IT savvy and have a strong experience with MS Office and other relevant software such as SimaPro or Gabi.

you have an excellent command of Dutch and English (both verbally and written) and if you speak any other language is welcome!
